When I read this, I think about sheep and shepherds. Yep, mindless animals can’t be left to decide for themselves.
But wait, there is another way. Let’s take this paragraph:
If faced with all the need for change and uncertainty, people need to ask for permission (from a boss or from the group) to make decisions or make small experiments, the VUCA world will laugh at them.

So it seems what worked well in the times of certainty doesn’t work anymore in this unpredictable VUCA world.
